Acts 2:34

Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

{A Psalm of David} The LORD said unto my LORD, "Sit thou on my righthand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool."

saying, "What think ye of Christ? Whose son is he?" They said unto him, "The son of David."

For David himself, inspired with the holy ghost, said, 'The Lord said to my Lord, sit on my right hand till I make thine enemies thy foot stool.'

And David himself saith in the book of the Psalms, 'The Lord said unto my Lord: Sit on my right hand,

For he must reign till he have put all his enemies under his feet.

And hath put all things under his feet, and hath made him above all things, the head of the congregation:

Unto which of the angels said he at any time, "Sit on my right hand till I make thine enemies thy footstool?"

and they shall know how that this is thy hand, and that thou, LORD, hast done it.

This was done of the Lord, and is marvelous in our eyes.'"

For he must reign till he have put all his enemies under his feet.

but this man after he had offered one sacrifice for sins, sat him down for ever on the righthand of God,
