Acts 2:34

Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

saying, What think ye concerning the Christ? whose son is he? They say to him, Davids.

David himself said in the Holy Spirit, "The Lord said to my lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool."

For David himself saith in the book of Psalms, "The Lord said to my lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

For he must reign, "till he hath put all enemies under his feet."

and put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things to the church,

But to which of the angels hath he ever said: "Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?"

from the Lord did this come, and it is marvelous in our eyes"?

For he must reign, "till he hath put all enemies under his feet."

but he, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins, sat down for ever on the right hand of God,
