and we sailed away from Philippi, after the days of unleavened bread, and came to them to Troas in five days; where we tarried seven days.

and thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of the district of Macedonia, a colony. And we were tarrying in this city certain days.

And, having passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews;

And on the first day of the sabbaths, we having come together to break bread, Paul was discoursing to them (being about to depart on the morrow), and continued the discourse until midnight.

Also with many other words he testified, and exhorted them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation!"

confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to abide in the faith, and that through many tribulations we must enter into the Kingdom of God.

And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the assemblies.

Whom we proclaim, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ;

For our exhortation is not of error, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile;

Finally, then, brethren, we beseech and exhort you in the Lord Jesus, that, as ye received from us how ye ought to walk, and to please God??ven as ye also are walking??hat ye abound more and more;
