Yet now I urge you to keep up your courage; for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship.

But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, "Take courage! It is I; do not be afraid."

Now after these things were finished, Paul purposed in the spirit to go to Jerusalem after he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia, saying, "After I have been there, I must also see Rome."

And now, behold, bound in the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there,

and saw him saying to me, 'Make haste, and get out of Jerusalem quickly, because they will not accept your testimony about me.'

When they had appointed a day for Paul, they came to him at his lodging in great numbers. And he explained the matter to them from morning till evening, testifying to the kingdom of God and trying to convince them about Jesus both from the law of Moses and from the prophets.

so that my imprisonment for Christ has become well known throughout the whole praetorian guard and to everyone else,

But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was rescued from the lion's mouth.
