Acts 23:29
I found that he did not do a thing for which he deserved to die or be put in prison. The accusation against him had to do with questions about their own law.

If I am a wrongdoer, or have committed any thing worthy of death, I do not refuse to die. But if charges brought against me by the Jews are not true no man has the right to hand me over to them. I appeal to Caesar.
Acts 25:19-20
They had questions against him about their own superstition. They had one about Jesus, who is dead, but Paul affirmed to be alive.
Acts 28:18
They questioned me and were ready to set me free, for they found me not guilty of any crime deserving death.
