Acts 23:7

After he said that, an angry quarrel broke out between the Pharisees and the Sadducees, and the assembly was divided,

Confound them, Lord, and confuse their speech, because I have seen violence and strife in the city.

"Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword!

When they heard these words, some in the crowd were saying, "This really is the Prophet,"

But the people of the city were divided. Some were with the Jews, while others were with the apostles.
