through Whom we received grace and apostleship, for obedience of faith among all the nations for His name's sake;

of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God which was given to me according to the working of His power.

even as ye learned from Epaphras, our beloved fellow-servant, who is for us a faithful minister of Christ,

and sent Timothy, our brother and minister of God in the Gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to exhort you concerning your faith;

I have thanks for Him Who empowered me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because He accounted me faithful, putting me into His service,

Suggesting these things to the brethren, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished in the words of the faith and of the good teaching which you have strictly followed;

But be sober in all things, suffer hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fully accomplish your ministry.
