Where we found brethren, and were desired to tarry with them seven days: and so we went toward Rome.

What happened became known throughout Joppa, and many believed in the Lord.

It was while Apollos was in Corinth that Paul passed through the inland districts and came to Ephesus. He found a few disciples there

So we located some disciples and stayed there for seven days. Through the Spirit, they kept telling Paul not to go to Jerusalem,

I am united with all who fear you, and with everyone who keeps your precepts.

"Whatever town or village you enter, find out who is receptive in it and stay there until you leave.

After the Festival of Unleavened Bread, we sailed from Philippi, and days later we joined them in Troas and stayed there for seven days.

Seven days from now I'll send rain on the earth for 40 days and 40 nights, and I'll destroy every living creature that I've made."

Noah waited another seven days and sent the dove out from the ark again.
