Our fathers would not obey him. They sent him away, and in their hearts turned back again to Egypt.
Numbers 14:3-4
Why is Jehovah bringing us to this land? Is it just to have us die in battle? Our wives and children will be taken as prisoners of war! Would it not be better for us to go back to Egypt?
