So he got up and went. Now there was an Ethiopian eunuch, a member of the court of Candace, queen of Ethiopia, her chief treasurer, who had come up to Jerusalem to worship,

Jesus said to them, "My food is doing the will of him who has sent me, and finishing his work.

Understandest

When anyone hears the teaching of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and robs him of the seed that has been sown in his mind. That is what was sown along the path.

And he called the people to him and said to them,

"So when you see the dreadful desecration, of which the prophet Daniel spoke, set up in the Holy Place"??he reader must take note of this??16 "then those who are in Judea must fly to the hills;

You pore over the Scriptures, for you think that you will find eternal life in them, and these very Scriptures testify to me,

But in public worship I would rather say five words with my understanding so as to instruct others also than ten thousand words in an ecstasy.

So do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is.
