Who drink wine from sacrificial bowls
While they anoint themselves with the finest of oils,
Yet they have not grieved over the ruin of Joseph.

When Israel saw Joseph’s sons, he said, “Who are these?”

They shall divide it into seven portions; Judah shall stay in its territory on the south, and the house of Joseph shall stay in their territory on the north.

Likewise the house of Joseph went up against Bethel, and the Lord was with them.

For your servant knows that I have sinned; therefore behold, I have come today, the first of all the house of Joseph to go down to meet my lord the king.”

say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions; and I will put them with it, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they will be one in My hand.”’

And I will save the house of Joseph,
And I will

bring them back,

Because I have had compassion on them;
And they will be as though I had not rejected them,
For I am the Lord their God and I will answer them.

The strong man will become tinder,
His work also a spark.
Thus they shall both burn together
And there will be none to quench them.

“Circumcise yourselves to the Lord
And remove the foreskins of your heart,
Men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem,
Or else My wrath will go forth like fire
And burn with none to quench it,
Because of the evil of your deeds.”

Therefore thus says the Lord God, “Behold, My anger and My wrath will be poured out on this place, on man and on beast and on the trees of the field and on the fruit of the ground; and it will burn and not be quenched.”

and say to the forest of the Negev, ‘Hear the word of the Lord: thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I am about to kindle a fire in you, and it will consume every green tree in you, as well as every dry tree; the blazing flame will not be quenched and

the whole surface from south to north will be burned by it.

If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life crippled, than, having your two hands, to go into

hell, into the unquenchable fire,
