He that

Therefore, to have legal disputes against one another is already a moral failure for you. Why not rather put up with injustice? Why not rather be cheated?

This means one must not transgress against and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is an avenger of all these offenses, as we also previously told and warned you.

And if he has wronged you in any way, or owes you anything, charge that to my account.

Receive

For we must all appear before the tribunal of Christ, so that each may be repaid for what he has done in the body, whether good or worthless.

For if the message spoken through angels was legally binding

and every transgression and disobedience received a just punishment,

And

Masters, supply your slaves with what is right and fair, since you know that you too have a Master in heaven.

“You must not act unjustly when deciding a case. Do not be partial to the poor or give preference to the rich; judge your neighbor fairly.

Do not show partiality when deciding a case; listen to small and great alike. Do not be intimidated by anyone, for judgment belongs to God. Bring me any case too difficult for you, and I will hear it.

For the Lord your God is the God of gods and Lord of lords, the great, mighty, and awesome God, showing no partiality and taking no bribe.

We will certainly die and be like water poured out on the ground, which can’t be recovered. But God would not take away a life; He would devise plans so that the one banished from Him does not remain banished.

And now, may the terror of the Lord be on you. Watch what you do, for there is no injustice or partiality or taking bribes with the Lord our God.”

God is not partial to princes
and does not favor the rich over the poor,
for they are all the work of His hands.

Therefore, men fear Him.
He does not look favorably on any who are wise in heart.

They questioned Him, “Teacher, we know that You speak and teach correctly, and You don’t show partiality,

but teach truthfully the way of God.

Then Peter began to speak: “Now I really understand that God doesn’t show favoritism,

There is no favoritism with God.

And masters, treat your slaves the same way, without threatening them, because you know that both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no favoritism with Him.

And if you address as Father the One who judges impartially based on each one’s work, you are to conduct yourselves in fear during the time of your temporary residence.

These people are discontented grumblers, walking according to their desires; their mouths utter arrogant words, flattering people for their own advantage.
