After this shall he set his face unto the Isles, and take many of them. A prince shall stop him, to do him a shame, beside the confusion that else shall come unto him.

But Ephraim hath provoked him to displeasure through his abominations; therefore shall his blood be poured upon himself, and the LORD his God shall reward him his blasphemies.

Go into the Isles of Chittim, and look well; send unto Kedar, and take diligent heed; and see, whether such things be done there,

"Hear the word of the LORD, O ye Gentiles; preach in the Isles that lie far off, and say, 'He that hath scattered Israel, shall gather him together again, and shall keep him as a shepherd doth his flock.'

The LORD shall be grim upon them, and destroy all the goods in the land. And all the Isles of the Heathen shall worship him, every man in his place.

And the sons of Javan were: Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

Then Adonibezek said, "Three score and ten kings having their thumbs and great toes cut off, gathered their meat under my table wherefore as I have done so God hath done to me again." And they brought him to Jerusalem, and there he died.

Unto them shall I give a token, and send certain of them that be delivered among the Gentiles: into Tarshish, Put and Lud, where men can handle bows; into Tubal also and Javan. The isles far off, that have not heard speak of me, and have not seen my glory, shall preach my praise among the Gentiles

and the Oaks of Bashan to make the rowers. Thy boards have they made of ivory, and of costly wood out of the Isle of Chittim.

For as ye judge, so shall ye be judged: and with what measure ye mete, with the same shall it be measured to you again.
