Ye hear

You, O king, made a decree, that every man that hears the sound of the horn, flute, harp, zither, pipes, and all kinds of music, shall fall down and worship the golden image.

Ye fall

If you will worship me it will all be yours.

Well

If it is so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the blazing furnace. He will deliver us out of your hand, O king.

Will you forgive their sin? If not, please wipe me out of the book you have written.

If the tree bears figs next year it will be good. If it does not you can have it cut down.

And who

Nebuchadnezzar said: Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! He sent his angel and delivered his servants who trusted in him. They violated the king's command and have yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.

Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and threw him into the den of lions. The king spoke to Daniel: Your God whom you serve will deliver you.

But Pharaoh responded: Who is Jehovah, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I do not know Jehovah, and besides, I will not let Israel go.

When did any of the gods of all these countries ever save their country from our king? What makes you think Jehovah can save Jerusalem?

Do not be fooled by Hezekiah! No god of any nation has been able to stand up to Assyria. Believe me, your God cannot keep you safe!'

Did the gods of these countries indeed rescue them from my control? Could Jehovah then rescue Jerusalem from my control?'

Who is it you have insulted and blasphemed? Against whom have you raised your voice and lifted your eyes in pride? It is against the Holy One of Israel!

He trusts in God. Let him save him now if he wants him. After all he said: I am the Son of God.
