Then these men came by agreement and found Daniel making petition and plea before his God.

The wicked watches for the righteous and seeks to put him to death.

Then these presidents and satraps came by agreement to the king and said to him, "O King Darius, live forever!

he lurks in ambush like a lion in his thicket; he lurks that he may seize the poor; he seizes the poor when he draws him into his net.
