He shall speak

I considered the horns, and behold, there came up among them another horn, a little one, before which three of the first horns were plucked up by the roots. And behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great things.

His power shall be great--but not by his own power; and he shall cause fearful destruction and shall succeed in what he does, and destroy mighty men and the people who are the saints.

And he shall return to his land with great wealth, but his heart shall be set against the holy covenant. And he shall work his will and return to his own land.

"'Whom have you mocked and reviled? Against whom have you raised your voice and lifted your eyes to the heights? Against the Holy One of Israel!

who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, proclaiming himself to be God.

And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months.

Shall wear out

When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne.

And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that rises from the bottomless pitwill make war on them and conquer them and kill them,

Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation,

Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.

For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and you have given them blood to drink. It is what they deserve!"

And I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.When I saw her, I marveled greatly.

And in her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all who have been slain on earth."

And think

He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding;

Forces from him shall appear and profane the temple and fortress, and shall take away the regular burnt offering. And they shall set up the abomination that makes desolate.

And from the time that the regular burnt offering is taken away and the abomination that makes desolate is set up, there shall be 1,290 days.

that you shall be driven from among men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. but do not measure the court outside the temple; leave that out, for it is given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months.

and the woman fled into the wilderness, where she has a place prepared by God, in which she is to be nourished for 1,260 days.
