Deuteronomy 2:26

And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth to Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,

and Jahaz, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,

When thou draw near to a city to fight against it, then proclaim peace to it.

Kedemoth with its suburbs, and Mephaath with its suburbs; four cities.

And he sent letters to all the Jews, to the hundred twenty-seven provinces of the kingdom of Ahasuerus, [with] words of peace and truth,

And while entering into the house, salute it.

And into whatever house ye enter, first say, Peace to this house.

But into whatever city ye enter, and they will not receive you, after departing into the thoroughfares if it, say,
