And the sons of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, not counting the children.

And it came to pass that same day that the LORD did bring the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their hosts.

And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even that same day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

And lift up thy rod and stretch out thy hand over the sea and divide it; and the sons of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

And remember that thou wast a slave in the land of Egypt and that the LORD thy God brought thee out of there with a mighty hand and by an outstretched arm; therefore, the LORD thy God has commanded thee to keep the sabbath day.

He did marvellous things in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.

He put the words of his signs in them and his wonders in the land of Ham.

Our fathers did not understand thy wonders in Egypt; they did not remember the multitude of thy mercies but rebelled by the sea, even at the Red sea.

He that led them by the right hand of Moses with the arm of his glory, he who divided the water before them, thus making himself an everlasting name.
