Deuteronomy 27:2

When you cross the Jordan River to the land the Lord your God is giving you, you must erect great stones and cover them with plaster.

Joshua 4:1

When the entire nation was on the other side, the Lord told Joshua,

Joshua 1:11

"Go through the camp and command the people, 'Prepare your supplies, for within three days you will cross the Jordan River and begin the conquest of the land the Lord your God is ready to hand over to you.'"

Joshua 4:5-24

Joshua told them, "Go in front of the ark of the Lord your God to the middle of the Jordan. Each of you is to put a stone on his shoulder, according to the number of the Israelite tribes.

Joshua 8:31

I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will remove the heart of stone from your body and give you a heart of flesh.
