The Lord replied to Moses, "Take Joshua son of Nun, a man in whom is such a spirit, and lay your hand on him;

So shall

Then Joshua said to them, "Don't be afraid and don't panic! Be strong and brave, for the Lord will do the same thing to all your enemies you fight.

Your servant has struck down both the lion and the bear. This uncircumcised Philistine will be just like one of them. For he has defied the armies of the living God!"

Your loyal followers trust in you, for you, Lord, do not abandon those who seek your help.

He delivered us from so great a risk of death, and he will deliver us. We have set our hope on him that he will deliver us yet again,
