Detailed Stipulations

¹⁶ And thou shalt consume all the peoples which the LORD thy God shall deliver thee; thine eye shall have no pity upon them; neither shalt thou serve their gods; for that will be a snare unto thee. ¹⁷ “If you should say in your heart, ‘These nations are greater than I; how can I dispossess them?’ ¹⁸ Do not be afraid of them; remember well what the LORD thy God did with Pharaoh and with all Egypt;

Drive Them Out

Numbers 33:53

and ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land and dwell therein; for I have given you the land to inherit it.

Numbers 13:32

And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had spied out unto the sons of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone through to spy it out, is a land that eats up its inhabitants; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.

Deuteronomy 8:17

and thou say in thy heart, My power and the might of my hand has gotten me this wealth.
