4 De HEERE is hoog boven alle heidenen, boven de hemelen is Zijn heerlijkheid.

5 Wie is gelijk de HEERE, onze God? Die zeer hoog woont.
5 Who is like the Lord our God,Who is enthroned on high,
6 Die zeer laag ziet, in den hemel en op de aarde.
6 Who humbles Himself to beholdThe things that are in heaven and in the earth?
7 Die den geringe uit het stof opricht, en den nooddruftige uit den drek verhoogt;
7 He raises the poor from the dustAnd lifts the needy from the ash heap,
8 Om te doen zitten bij de prinsen, bij de prinsen Zijns volks.
8 To make them sit with princes,With the princes of His people.
9 Die de onvruchtbare doet wonen met een huisgezin, een blijde moeder van kinderen. Hallelujah!
