In the middle of the day, Elijah made sport of them, saying: Give louder cries, for he is a god; he may be deep in thought. He may have gone away for some purpose. Perhaps he is on a journey. By chance he is sleeping and must be woke up.

He appeared before King Ahab. The king asked him: Micaiah, should King Jehoshaphat and I go and attack Ramoth, or not? Attack! Micaiah answered. You will win. Jehovah will give you victory.

The younger one said to him, Father I want my share of the property. He divided his property between his two sons.

In thy youth

Remember your Creator (Hebrew: Bara', plural, Creators denotes majesty) (Ge 1:26) in the days of your youth, before the evil days come and the years draw near. You will say: I have no pleasure in them.

What if the Spirit of Jehovah carries you off to some unknown place as soon as I leave? Then, when I tell Ahab that you are here and he cannot find you, he will put me to death. Remember that I have been a devout worshiper of Jehovah ever since I was a boy.

It is good for a man to carry the yoke when he is young.

In the sight

Whatever my eyes desired I did not keep from them. I did not withhold joy from my heart. My heart took pleasure in all my work and this was my reward.

When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

The sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful. They married any of them they chose.

When I saw among the spoils a quality Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them. I hid them in the earth in the middle of my tent.

Late one afternoon, David got up from his nap and went to the palace roof. He walked around on the roof. He saw a woman taking a bath. She was very beautiful.

However, I tell you that whoever looks at a woman with lustful thoughts commits adultery with her in his heart.

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If any one loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Know

I said in my heart, God should judge the righteous and the wicked for there is a time for every purpose and for every work.

For God will bring every work into judgment with every secret thing, whether it is good or whether it is evil.

He addresses (summons) heaven and earth to judge his people:

God overlooked the times of ignorance; but now he commands men everywhere to repent.

He reasoned about righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come. Felix trembled, and answered: Go your way for now. When I have time I will send for you.

Thanks to your stubborn and unrepentant heart, you store up wrath for yourself, in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God.

Why do you judge your brother? Why do you look down on your brother with contempt? We will all stand before the judgment seat of God (Theos).

Do not judge anything before the time. Wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and make apparent the counsels of the hearts. Then each man's praise will come from God.

We must all appear before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether it is good or bad.

According to the same word, the heavens that now are, and the earth, are reserved for fire, being kept for the Day of Judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

It is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment:

I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God. The books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged according to the things written in the books, according to their works.

It is like sport to a fool to do mischief. A man of understanding has wisdom.

Even in laughter the heart has pain; and joy may end in grief.

For God will bring every work into judgment with every secret thing, whether it is good or whether it is evil.

The Father does not judge any man for he has given all judgment to the Son.

So then every one of us will give account of himself to God.
