Ephesians 2:17

and He came and preached peace to you that were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

According to the declaration which He made to the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.

ye, who were formerly afar off, are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

and if the family be worthy, let your peace come upon it; but if they be not worthy, your salutation shall return to you.

praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good-will towards men.

and heal those in it that are sick, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come unto you.

And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders rejoicing:

for the promise is to you and to your children, yea and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

We are therefore ambassadors for Christ, and as God exhorteth you by us, we intreat you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
