Now this I say and testify in the Lord, that you must no longer walk as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their minds.

We know that our old selfwas crucified with him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no longer be enslaved to sin.

Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices

Deceitful

The wicked earns deceptive wages, but one who sows righteousness gets a sure reward.

The horror you inspire has deceived you, and the pride of your heart, you who live in the clefts of the rock, who hold the height of the hill. Though you make your nest as high as the eagle's, I will bring you down from there, declares the LORD.
