So that fornication, and all uncleanness or covetousness, be not once named among you, as it becometh saints:

Mortify therefore your members which are on the earth; fornication, uncleanness, unnatural lust, evil concupiscence, and covetousness which is worshipping of idols:

Flee fornication. All sins that a man doth, are without the body. But he that is a fornicator, sinneth against his own body.

For this ye know, that no whoremonger, either unclean person, or covetous person, which is the worshipper of images, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ, and of God.

Meats are ordained for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Let not the body be applied unto fornication, but unto the Lord, and the Lord unto the body.

For it is shame even to name those things which are done of them in secret:

Moreover, seek out, among all the people, men of activity which fear God; and men that are true and hate covetousness: and make them heads over the people, captains over thousands, over hundreds, over fifty, and over ten.

"Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house: neither shalt covet thy neighbor's wife, his manservant, his maid, his ox, his ass or ought that is his."

And in all things that I have said unto you, be circumspect. And make no rehearsal of the names of strange gods, neither let any man hear them out of your mouths.

And Israel dwelt in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab,

There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor whorekeeper of the sons of Israel.

I saw among the spoil a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundredth sicles of silver, and a tongue of gold of fifty sicles weight: and I coveted them, and I took them. And behold they lie hid in the earth in my tent and the silver thereunder."

Nevertheless, his sons followed not his steps: but turned aside after lucre and took rewards, and perverted the right.

For the ungodly hath made boast of his own heart's desire, and speaketh good of the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.

Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.

Where the prince is without understanding, there is great oppression and wrong; but if he be such one as hateth covetousness, he shall long reign.

"For from the least unto the most, they hang all upon covetousness: and from the prophet unto the priest, they go all about with falsity and lies.

Wherefore, I will give their wives unto aliens, and their fields to destroyers. For from the lowest to the highest, they follow all filthy lucre: and from the Prophet unto the priest, they deal all with lies.

Nevertheless, as for thine eyes and thine heart, they look upon covetousness, to shed innocent blood, and to do wrong and violence.'"

These come unto thee, after the manner of a great people: yea, my people sit down before thee, and hear thy words, but they do not thereafter: for in their mouths they show themselves, as though they were fervent, but their heart goeth after their own covetous lucre.

When they covet to have land, they take it by violence; they rob men of their houses. Thus they oppress a man for his house, and every man for his heritage.

For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, breaking of wedlock, whoredom, theft, false witness-bearing, blasphemy.

For from within even out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts: adultery, fornication, murder,

Wherefore he said unto them, "Take heed, and beware of covetousness. For no man's life standeth in the abundance of the things which he possesseth."

All these things heard the Pharisees also which were covetous. And they mocked him,

but that we write unto them, that they abstain themselves from filthiness of images, from fornication, from strangled, and from blood.

I have desired no man's silver, gold, or vesture.

being full of all unrighteous doing: of fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, evil-conditioned whisperers,

Neither give ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: But give yourselves unto God, as they that are alive from death. And give your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

that ye receive her in the Lord as it becometh saints, and that ye assist her, in whatsoever business she needeth of your aid. For she hath succored many, and mine own self also.

There goeth a common saying that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not once named among the gentiles: that one should have his father's wife.

And I meant not at all of the fornicators of this world, either of the covetous, or of extortioners, either of the idolaters - for then must ye needs have gone out of the world -

Do ye not remember how that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived. For neither fornicators, neither worshippers of images, neither whoremongers, neither weaklings, neither abusers of themselves with mankind,

Neither let us commit fornication as some of them committed fornication, and were destroyed - in one day, twenty three thousand.

I fear lest when I come again, God bring me low among you, and I be constrained to bewail many of them which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness, and fornication, and wantonness which they have committed.

The deeds of the flesh are manifest, which are these: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, wantonness,

Which, being past repentance, have given themselves unto wantonness, to work all manner of uncleanness even with greediness.

Only let your conversation be, as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may yet hear of you, that ye continue in one spirit, and in one soul laboring as we do to maintain the faith of the gospel,

For this is the will of God, even that ye should be holy, and that ye should abstain from fornication,

For God hath not called us unto uncleanness: but unto holiness.

but with such as becometh women that profess the worshipping of God through good works.

not drunken, no fighter, not given to filthy lucre: but gentle, abhorring fighting, abhorring covetousness,

For covetousness is the root of all evil, which while some lusted after, they erred from the faith, and tangled themselves with many sorrows.

For the men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, cursed speakers, disobedient to father and mother, unthankful, unholy,

For a bishop must be faultless, as it becometh the minister of God; not stubborn, not angry, no drunkard, no fighter, not given to filthy lucre:

whose mouths must be stopped, which pervert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, because of filthy lucre.

And the elder women likewise that they be in such raiment as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much drinking, but teachers of honest things,

and that there be no fornicator, or unclean person, as Esau, which for one breakfast sold his birthright.

Let wedlock be had in price in all points, and let the chamber be undefiled: for whore keepers and adulterers God will judge.

and through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you, whose judgment is not far off, and their damnation sleepeth not.

namely, them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise the rulers. Presumptuous are they, and stubborn, and fear not to speak evil of them that are in authority;

having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease to sin, beguiling unstable souls. Hearts they have exercised with covetousness. They are cursed children,

But I have a few things against thee: that thou hast, there, they that maintain the doctrine of Balaam, which taught in Balak to put occasion of sin before the children of Israel, that they should eat of meat dedicated unto idols, and to commit fornication.

And I gave her space to repent of her fornication and she repented not.

Also they repented not of their murder, and of their sorcery, neither of their fornication, neither of their theft.

But the fearful and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

For without shall be dogs and enchanters, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth or maketh lies.
