Ephesians 5:31

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother, and will stick (adhere) (cleave) (be joined) to his wife. The two will become one flesh.

This is the reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife. They will become one flesh.

For this reason, a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife. The two shall become one flesh.

What? Do you not know that he who is joined to a prostitute is one (united with her) body? For he said: Two will be one flesh.
