Now I beg you, brothers, for the Lord Jesus Christ's sake, and for the love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in your prayers to God for me.

You also helped with your prayer on our behalf. Many may give thanks for the gift granted to us.

For I know that this will turn out to my redemption through your prayer and the provision of the spirit (vital principles) (mind) of Jesus Christ.

Pray also for us that God may open to us a door for the word, to speak the secret of Christ, for which I have also been imprisoned.

Brothers, pray for us.

Finally, brothers, pray for us that the word of God will spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it did also with you.

Prepare a lodging for me. I hope that through your prayers I shall be given to you.

Pray for us, for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience. And we wish to live honorably in all things.

Utterance

They were all filled with the Holy Spirit. They began to speak with different tongues, as the Spirit moved them to speak.

He enriches you in every way, in all speaking, and in all knowledge.

But as you have plenty of everything, in faith, and speech, and knowledge, and in all earnestness, and in your love for us, see that you have plenty of this undeserved kindness also.

They observed the confidence of Peter and John. Yet they thought they were uneducated (not formally educated) and ordinary men. They were amazed and recognized them as having been with Jesus.

Barnabas led him to the apostles. He declared to them how he had seen the Lord in The Way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.

Paul and Barnabas became very bold, and said: It was necessary that the Word of God should first be spoken to you. But seeing you reject it you judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life! Therefore we turn to the people of the nations.

The apostles stayed there for a long time. They spoke boldly by the authority of God who proved that their message about his grace was true by giving them the power to perform miracles and wonders.

He spoke boldly in the synagogue. But when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they invited him home and explained God's word more accurately.

He entered the synagogue and spoke boldly reasoning and persuading about the kingdom of God. He did this for three months.

He spread the message about God's Kingdom and taught boldly about the Lord Jesus Christ. And no one stopped him!

Since we have such a hope we use great boldness of speech.

I will not be put to shame according to my earnest expectation and hope. With all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in me, whether by life or by death.

After we suffered and were mistreated in Philippi, we had the boldness (confidence) in our God to speak the good news of God to you amid much opposition.
