However the more the Israelites were oppressed, the more they increased in number and spread out. The Egyptians could not stand them any longer.

He said to his people: There are too many Israelites! They are stronger than we are.

To be sure anger kills a stubborn fool. And jealousy murders a gullible person.

Jehovah made his people grow rapidly in number and stronger than their enemies.

There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against Jehovah!

Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous; but who is able to stand before envy?

The Pharisees spoke among themselves: You see that you are not accomplishing anything. Look the world has gone after him.

They were annoyed because they taught the people through Jesus. They preached the resurrection from the dead.

Did we command you not to teach in this name? Look, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and are willing to bring this man's blood upon us.

We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

Jehovah disciplines those he loves. In fact he scourges every son (child) he receives.
