Exodus 21:17

Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

And he that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death.

For he who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.

Cursed be he who dishonors his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

He who curses his father or his mother, his lamp shall be put out in blackness of darkness.

There is a generation who curses their father, and does not bless their mother.

And having answered, he said to them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God, because of your tradition?

For Moses said, Honor thy father and thy mother, and, He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him perish in death.

Cursed be he who dishonors his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.
