Little by little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.

to thrust out all thine enemies from before thee, as LORD has spoken.

then will LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and ye shall dispossess nations greater and mightier than yourselves.

And LORD will do to them as he did to Sihon and to Og, the kings of the Amorites, and to their land, whom he destroyed.

Yet the sons of Manasseh could not drive out those cities, but the Canaanites would dwell in that land.

So LORD gave to Israel all the land which he swore to give to their fathers, and they possessed it, and dwelt in it.
