Exodus 23:30

Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you be increased, and inherit the land.

By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou be increased, and inherit the land.

To cast out all your enemies from before you, as the LORD has spoken.

Then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and you shall possess nations greater and mightier than yourselves.

And the LORD shall do unto them as he did to Sihon and to Og, kings of the Amorites, and unto their land, when he destroyed them.

Yet the children of Manasseh could not drive out the inhabitants of those cities; but the Canaanites would persist to dwell in that land.

And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he swore to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt there.
