And God looked upon the sons of Israel, and God recognized them.

And the people believed; and hearing that the LORD had visited the sons of Israel and that he had seen their affliction, they bowed and worshipped.

Simeon has declared how God first visited the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.

But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou dost visit him?

and have your honest conversation among the Gentiles, so that, in that which they murmur about you as of evildoers, having witnessed your good works, they may glorify God in the day of visitation.
