Exodus 30:14

The Atonement Money

¹³ This shall they give every one that passeth among them that are numbered half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary, twenty gerahs the shekel; a half shekel shall be the heave-offering for Jehovah. ¹⁴ Every one that passeth among those that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give the heave-offering of Jehovah. ¹⁵ The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when ye give the heave-offering of Jehovah, to make atonement for your souls.

Numbers 1:3

from twenty years and upward, all that go forth to military service in Israel: ye shall number them according to their hosts, thou and Aaron.

Numbers 1:18

and gathered the whole assembly together on the first of the second month. And they declared their pedigrees after their families, according to their fathers' houses, by the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, according to their polls.
