I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall go in after them: and I will get myself honor over Pharaoh, and over all his armies, over his chariots, and over his horsemen.

Let them be disappointed and dismayed forever. Yes, let them be confounded and perish;

Yahweh has made everything for its own end -- yes, even the wicked for the day of evil.

For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, "For this very purpose I caused you to be raised up, that I might show in you my power, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth."

and, "a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense." For they stumble at the word, being disobedient, to which also they were appointed.

For there are certain men who crept in secretly, even those who were long ago written about for this condemnation: ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into indecency, and denying our only Master, God, and Lord, Jesus Christ.

All mankind shall be afraid. They shall declare the work of God, and shall wisely ponder what he has done.

Let them be disappointed and dismayed forever. Yes, let them be confounded and perish;
