Nevertheless, mine eye spared them, so that I would not utterly slay them, and consume them in the wilderness.

Help us, O God our saviour, for the glory of thy name; O deliver us, and forgive us our sins for thy name's sake.

Nevertheless, for my name's sake, I have withdrawn my wrath, and for mine honour's sake I have overseen thee, so that I have not rooted thee out.
