And you have seen all that the Lord your God has done to all these nations because of you, for the Lord your God is He who has been fighting for you.

“You also gave them kingdoms and peoples,
And allotted them to them as a boundary.

And apportioned them for an inheritance by measurement,

To eat its fruit and its good things.
But you came and defiled My land,
And My inheritance you made an abomination.

Then the Lord said to me in the days of Josiah the king, “Have you seen what faithless Israel did? She went up on every high hill and under every green tree, and she was a harlot there.
