Her princes in her midst are like wolves tearing the prey, shedding blood, destroying lives to get dishonest gain.

"Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose corrosion is in it, and whose corrosion has not gone out of it! Take out of it piece after piece, without making any choice.

Her officials within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves that leave nothing till the morning.

That her

You have become guilty by the blood that you have shed, and defiled by the idols that you have made, and you have brought your days near, the appointed time of your years has come. Therefore I have made you a reproach to the nations, and a mockery to all the countries.

"And you, O son of man, thus says the Lord GOD to the land of Israel: An end! The end has come upon the four corners of the land.

For I am the LORD; I will speak the word that I will speak, and it will be performed. It will no longer be delayed, but in your days, O rebellious house, I will speak the word and perform it, declares the Lord GOD."

But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God's righteous judgment will be revealed.

And in their greed they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep.

And maketh

And he did what was evil in the sight of the LORD, according to the despicable practices of the nations whom the LORD drove out before the people of Israel.
