They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation, that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance.

Concerning the sons of Ammon. Thus says LORD: Has Israel no sons? Has he no heir? Why then does Malcam possess Gad, and his people dwell in the cities thereof?

Enter not into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity. Yea, look not thou on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor lay ye [hands] on their substance in the day of their calamity.

Great is LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in his holy mountain.

In Judah God is known. His name is great in Israel.

For LORD has chosen Zion. He has desired it for his habitation.

Cry aloud and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion, for great in the midst of thee is the Holy One of Israel.

And his rock shall pass away because of terror, and his rulers shall be dismayed at the ensign, says LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.

LORD has taken away thy judgments. He has cast out thine enemy. The King of Israel, even LORD, is in the midst of thee. Thou shall not fear evil any more.

For I, says LORD, will be to her a wall of fire round about, and I will be the glory in the midst of her.
