And thou, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of LORD.

but the land, where ye go over to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, [and] drinks water from the rain of heaven,

Desolate

Thus says lord LORD: In the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will cause the cities to be inhabited, and the waste places shall be built.

And I will stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate and waste, from the wilderness toward Diblah, throughout all their habitations. And they shall know that I am LORD.
