I will no longer hide my face (withdraw my support) from them. I will pour out my Spirit on the nation of Israel,' declares the Lord Jehovah.

In the last days I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh. Your sons and your daughters will prophesy. Your old men will dream dreams. Your young men will see visions! (Ac 2:17; Isa 44:3)

The Spirit will be poured out upon us from on high. Then the wilderness will be turned into a fertile field, and the fertile field will be considered a forest.

I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground. I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring. I will give blessing to your descendants.

Jehovah will save Israel with an everlasting salvation. You will never be put to shame or disgraced, to ages everlasting.

In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you, says Jehovah your Redeemer.

A Savior will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who turn from sin, declares Jehovah.

I will sprinkle clean water on you and make you clean instead of unclean. Then I will cleanse you from all your idols.

I will promise them peace. This will be a long lasting promise. I will establish them and make them increase in number. I will put my holy place among them for a very long time.

Then the nations will know that the people of Israel went into captivity because they did wrong and rebelled against me. I hid my face (withdrew my support) from them and handed them over to their enemies. They were killed in battle.

I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of kindness and of supplication. They will look to the one whom they pierced; and they will mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son. There will be a bitter lamentation for him, like one who grieves for his first-born.

It will come to pass in the last days, says God, I will pour out from my Spirit upon all flesh. (Greek: apo, from) Your sons and your daughters will prophesy (proclaim God's Word). Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.

He is exalted to the right hand of God. He has received the promised Holy Spirit from the Father. So he poured out what you now see and hear.

The one who obeys God's commandments lives in God, and God lives in (with) Him. We know that He lives in (with) us by the Spirit He gave us.
