1 Then he led me out to the outer court, toward the north, and brought me to the chamber which was opposite the courtyard and opposite the building on the north.
1 Then he (A)brought me out into the (B)outer court, the way (C)toward the north; and he brought me to the (D)chamber which was opposite the (E)separate area and opposite the (F)building toward the north.
1 Then he brought me forth into the utter court, the way toward the north: and he brought me into the chamber that was over against the separate place, and which was before the building toward the north.
1 Then the man led me out by way of the north gate into the outer court.(A) He brought me to the group of chambers opposite the temple yard and opposite the building(B) to the north.
1 Then he brought me to the outer, north-facing courtyard into the chamber that stood opposite the structure that was facing north.
2 Its length was 175 feet on the north side, and its width 87? feet.
2 Before the length of an hundred cubits was the north door, and the breadth was fifty cubits.
2 Along the length of the chambers, which was 175 feet,(a)(C) there was an entrance on the north; the width was 87½ feet.(b)
2 It stood 100 cubits long and 50 cubits wide, with a door in the middle.
3 Opposite the 35 feet that belonged to the inner court, and opposite the pavement which belonged to the outer court, gallery faced gallery in the three stories.
3 Opposite the (H)twenty cubits which belonged to the inner court, and opposite the (I)pavement which belonged to the outer court, was (a)(J)gallery corresponding to (b)gallery in three stories.
3 Over against the twenty cubits which were for the inner court, and over against the pavement which was for the utter court, was gallery against gallery in three stories.
3 Opposite the 35 foot space(c) belonging to the inner court and opposite the paved surface(D) belonging to the outer court, the structure rose gallery by gallery(E) in three tiers.
3 Opposite the 20 cubits wide inner court, and opposite the paved area that comprised the outer court, there were three stories of galleries that faced each other.
4 In front of the chambers was a walkway on the inner side, 17? feet wide at a distance of 1? feet, and their entrances were on the north.
4 Before the (K)chambers was an inner walk ten cubits wide, a way of one hundred cubits; and their openings were on the north.
4 And before the chambers was a walk of ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors toward the north.
4 In front of the chambers was a walkway toward the inside,(F) 17½ feet(d) wide and 175 feet(e) long,(f) and their entrances were on the north.
4 In front of the chambers there was an inner walkway ten cubits wide and 100 cubits wide, the openings to which were on the north.
5 Now the upper chambers were narrower, because the galleries took more space from them than from the lower and middle chambers of the building.
5 Now the upper chambers were (c)smaller because the (d)(L)galleries took more space away from them than from the lower and middle ones in the building.
5 Now the upper chambers were shorter: for the galleries were higher than these, than the lower, and than the middlemost of the building.
5 The upper chambers were narrower because the galleries took away more space from them than from the lower and middle stories of the building.
5 The upper chambers were narrower, since the galleries required more space than did the lower and middle portions of the building.
6 For they were in three stories and had no pillars like the pillars of the courts; therefore the upper chambers were set back from the ground more than the lower and upper ones.

6 The three part structure had no columns, unlike the courts, which is why the upper chambers were offset from the ground upward, more so than the lower and middle chambers.
7 As for the outer wall by the side of the chambers, toward the outer court facing the chambers, it was 87? feet long.
7 As for the (N)outer wall by the side of the chambers, toward the outer court facing the chambers, its length was fifty cubits.
7 And the wall that was without over against the chambers, toward the utter court on the forepart of the chambers, the length thereof was fifty cubits.
7 A wall on the outside ran in front of the chambers, parallel to them, toward the outer court; it was 87½ feet(g) long.
7 The outer wall by the side of the chambers toward the outer court and facing the chambers was 50 cubits long.
8 For the chambers on the outer court were 87? feet long, while those facing the temple were 175 feet long.
8 For the length of the chambers which were in the outer court was fifty cubits; and behold, the length of those facing the temple was a (O)hundred cubits.
8 For the length of the chambers that were in the utter court was fifty cubits: and, lo, before the temple were an hundred cubits.
8 For the chambers on the outer court were 87½ feet long, while those facing the great hall were 175 feet(h) long.(H)
8 While the chambers in the outer court were 50 cubits in length, the chambers facing the Temple were 100 cubits long.
9 Below these chambers was a passage on the east side as one enters from the outer court.
9 Below these chambers was the (P)entrance on the east side, as one enters them from the outer court.
9 And from under these chambers was the entry on the east side, as one goeth into them from the utter court.
9 At the base of these chambers there was an entryway on the east side as one enters them from the outer court.(I)
9 Below these chambers, as one might enter from the outer court, was the east side entrance.
10 At the beginning of the wall of the court toward the south, facing the courtyard and the building, were chambers
10 In the (f)thickness of the (Q)wall of the court toward the east, facing the (R)separate area and facing the building, there were (S)chambers.
10 The chambers were in the thickness of the wall of the court toward the east, over against the separate place, and over against the building.
10 In the thickness of the wall of the court toward the south,(i) there were chambers facing the temple yard(J) and the western building,
10 There were chambers built into the thick part of the wall of the court facing the east; that is, facing the separate area toward the front of the building,
11 with a passage in front of them. They looked like the chambers on the north. Of the same length and width, and all their exits according to their arrangements and entrances
11 The (T)way in front of them was like the appearance of the chambers which were on the north, according to their length so was their width, and all their exits were both according to their arrangements and openings.
11 And the way before them was like the appearance of the chambers which were toward the north, as long as they, and as broad as they: and all their goings out were both according to their fashions, and according to their doors.
11 with a passageway in front of them, just like the chambers that faced north.(K) Their length and width, as well as all their exits, measurements, and entrances, were identical.
11 with a passageway in front of them, similar in appearance to the chambers that were on the north, proportional to their length and width, with all of their exits according to their arrangements and doorways.
12 were the chambers which were toward the south. There was an opening at the head of the passage, the passage in front of the corresponding wall toward the east when one enters.
12 Corresponding to the openings of the chambers which were toward the south was an opening at the head of the way, the way in front of the (U)wall toward the east, as one enters them.
12 And according to the doors of the chambers that were toward the south was a door in the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall toward the east, as one entereth into them.
12 The entrance at the beginning of the passageway, the way in front of the corresponding(j) wall as one enters on the east side, was similar to the entrances of the chambers that were on the south side.
12 Corresponding to the chamber doorways facing the south was an opening at the beginning of the passage; that is, the passage in front of the corresponding part of the wall facing east as one might enter.
13 Then he said to me, "The north chambers and the south chambers which face the courtyard are holy chambers where the priests who approach the Lord will eat the most holy offerings. There they will place the most holy offerings -- the grain offering, the sin offering, and the guilt offering, because the place is holy.
13 Then he said to me, “The north chambers and the south chambers, which are opposite the (V)separate area, they are the (W)holy chambers where the priests who are (X)near to the Lord shall eat the (Y)most holy things. There they shall lay the most holy things, the grain offering, the sin offering and the guilt offering; for the place is holy.
13 Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the meat offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy.
13 Then the man said to me, “The northern and southern chambers that face the temple yard are the holy chambers where the priests who approach the Lord will eat(L) the most holy offerings.(M) There they will deposit the most holy offerings—the grain offerings, sin offerings, and restitution offerings—for the place is holy.(N)
13 Then he told me, "The north and south chamber, which are opposite the courtyard, are consecrated areas where the priests who approach the LORD will eat consecrated offerings and lay the consecrated grain offerings, sin offerings, and guilt offerings, because the area is holy.
14 When the priests enter, then they will not go out from the sanctuary to the outer court without taking off their garments in which they minister, for these are holy; they will put on other garments, then they will go near the places where the people are."
14 When the priests enter, then they shall not go out into the outer court from the sanctuary (g)without (Z)laying there their (AA)garments in which they minister, for they are holy. They shall put on other garments; then they shall approach that which is for the people.”
14 When the priests enter therein, then shall they not go out of the holy place into the utter court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister; for they are holy; and shall put on other garments, and shall approach to those things which are for the people.
14 Once the priests have entered, they must not go out from the holy area to the outer court until they have removed the clothes they minister in, for these are holy.(O) They are to put on other clothes before they approach the public area.”(P)
14 When the priest enters, they will not enter the outer court from the sanctuary without having removed their garments worn during their time of ministry, because they are holy. They will put on different clothes, and then they will approach the area reserved for the people."
15 Now when he had finished measuring the interior of the temple, he led me out by the gate which faces east and measured all around.
15 Now when he had finished measuring the inner house, he brought me out by the way of the (AB)gate which faced toward the east and measured it all around.
15 Now when he had made an end of measuring the inner house, he brought me forth toward the gate whose prospect is toward the east, and measured it round about.
15 When he finished measuring inside the temple complex, he led me out by way of the gate that faced east and measured all around the complex.(Q)
15 After he had finished measuring the inner temple, he brought me out through the east-facing gate and measured it all around.
16 He measured the east side with the measuring stick as 875 feet by the measuring stick.
16 He measured on the east side with the measuring reed five hundred reeds by the (AC)measuring reed.
16 He measured the east side with the measuring reed, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.
16 He measured the east side at 500 reeds, according to the length of the measuring stick,

20 He measured it on all four sides. It had a wall around it, 875 feet long and 875 feet wide, to separate the holy and common places.
20 He measured it (h)on the four sides; it had a (AD)wall all around, the (AE)length five hundred and the (AF)width five hundred, to (AG)divide between the holy and the profane.
20 He measured it by the four sides: it had a wall round about, five hundred reeds long, and five hundred broad, to make a separation between the sanctuary and the profane place.
20 He measured the temple complex on all four sides. It had a wall all around it,(R) 875 feet long and 875 feet(S) wide, to separate the holy from the common.(T)
20 He measured a wall that encompassed all four sides, 500 hundred long and 500 wide, dividing between the sacred and common areas.
