Ye

but ye know that through weakness of the flesh I proclaimed the Gospel to you formerly;

and the base things of the world, and things despised, did God choose, and the things that are not, that He might bring to nought the things that are;

We are fools for Christ's sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are highly esteemed; but we are without honor.

Therefore, indeed, he that rejects, rejects not man, but God, Who giveth His Holy Spirit to you.

Do not forget to show love for strangers; for thereby some entertained angels unawares.

And, for this reason, we also give thanks to God without ceasing, that, having received the word of God which ye heard from us, ye received it, not as the word of men, but, as it truly is, the word of God, which also is working in you who believe.
