But it is good to be zealously sought in a good thing at all times, and not only when I am present with you,
but ye know that through weakness of the flesh I proclaimed the Gospel to you formerly;
Therefore, my beloved brethren, become steadfast, immovable, abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
And I was wishing to be present with you now, and to change my voice; because I am perplexed about you.
Only demean yourselves in a manner worthy of the Gospel of Christ; that, whether coming and seeing you, or being absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye are standing fast in one spirit, with one soul striving together for the faith of the Gospel;
So then, my beloved, as ye always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;
who gave Himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for Himself a special people, zealous of good works.
