For the fruit of the spirit is, in all goodness, righteousness, and truth.

Now therefore as elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercy, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, long suffering,

Every branch that beareth not fruit in me, he will take away. And every branch that beareth fruit will he purge, that it may bring more fruit.

I am the vine, and ye are the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit. For without me can ye do nothing.

Love suffereth long, and is courteous. Love envieth not. Love doth not forwardly, swelleth not,

And that which fell among thorns, are they which hear, and go forth, and are choked with cares and with riches, and voluptuous living, and bring forth no fruit.

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you and ordained you that ye go, and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit remain, that whatsoever ye shall ask of the father in my name he should give it you.

Even so, ye my brethren; ye also are made dead as concerning the law by the body of Christ, that ye should be coupled to another - I mean to him that is risen again from death - that we should bring forth fruit unto God.

Now abideth faith, hope, and love, even these three: but the chief of these is love.

but the wisdom that is from above, is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without judging, and without simulation.

And forasmuch as ye have purified your souls through the spirit, in obeying the truth for to love brotherly without feigning, see that ye love one another with a pure heart, fervently:

And hereunto, give all diligence: In your faith, minister virtue; and in virtue, knowledge;

And he shall be like a tree planted by the waterside, that will bring forth his fruit in due season. His leaf, also, shall not wither; and, look, whatsoever he doeth, it shall prosper.

They shall also bring forth more fruit in their age, and shall be fat and well liking,

Ephraim, what have ye any more to do with idols? I have healed him and looked on him. I will be as a great fir tree, and of me shall thy fruit be found.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns? Or figs of thistles?

Either make the tree good, and his fruit good also, or else make the tree evil, and his fruit evil also. For the tree is known by his fruit.

Because therefore that we are justified by faith we are at peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

But now are ye delivered from sin, and made the servants of God, and have your fruit that ye should be sanctified; and the end: everlasting life.

Let love be without dissimulation. Hate that which is evil, and cleave unto that which is good.

For Christ pleased not himself: but as it is written, "The rebukes of them which rebuked thee, fell on me."

I myself am full certified of you, my brethren, that ye yourselves are full of goodness, and filled with all knowledge, and are able to exhort one another.

Brethren, ye were called into liberty, only let not your liberty be an occasion unto the flesh but in love serve one another.

I say, walk in the spirit, and fulfil not the lusts of the flesh.

and be ye renewed in the spirit of your minds,

filled with the fruits of righteousness, which fruits come by Jesus Christ unto the glory and laud of God.

Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice.

that ye might walk worthy of the Lord in all things that please, being fruitful in all good works and increasing in the knowledge of God

without ceasing, and call to remembrance your work in the faith, and labour in love and perseverance in the hope of our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God our father:

which died for us: that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and evil men. For all men have not faith:

Even so must their wives be honest, not evil speakers: but sober, and faithful in all things.

Let no man despise thy youth; but be unto them that believe, an example: in word, in conversation, in love, in spirit, in faith and in pureness.
