The Creation

⁵ God called the light day. He called the darkness night. There was evening and there was morning, one day. ⁶ Then God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters.” ⁷ God made the expanse. He separated the waters that were below the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse. It was so.
