Genesis 2:7

Thus it is written, 'The first man, Adam, became an animate being, the last Adam a life-giving Spirit';

Man the first is from the earth, material; Man the second is from heaven.

he is not served by human hands as if he needed anything, for it is he who gives life and breath and all things to all men.

And with these words he breathed on them, and added, "Receive the holy Spirit!

But who are you, my man, to speak back to God? Is something a man has moulded to ask him who has moulded it, "Why did you make me like this?"

But I possess this treasure in a frail vessel of earth, to show that the transcending power belongs to God, not to myself;

I know that if this earthly tent of mine is taken down, I get a home from God, made by no human hands, eternal in the heavens.

Why, we had fathers of our flesh to discipline us, and we yielded to them! Shall we not far more submit to the Father of our spirits, and so live?
