And he replied, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.

Have a people ever heard the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as thou hast heard, and lived?

Now, therefore, why should we die? For this great fire will consume us; if we hear the voice of the LORD our God any more, then we shall die.

Cool of the day

For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he sees all his steps.

Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind and said,

Thick clouds are his hiding place, and he does not see; and he walks in the circuit of heaven.

If I covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding my iniquity in my bosom;

There is no darkness nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.

O LORD, thou hast searched me and known me.

The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding those who are evil and those who are good.
