Genesis 31:31

Jacob answered Laban: I was afraid you might take your daughters from me by force.

Abraham said: I thought that because there are no people who reverence God in this place, I would be killed because of my wife.

Laban said to Jacob: Why did you deceive me and carry off my daughters like women captured in war?

Fear of man brings a snare (trap). He who trusts in Jehovah will be safe.
