And he tarried there that same night, and took of that which came to hand, a present, unto Esau his brother:

And she said, "Give me a blessing: for thou hast given me a southward and dry land: give me also springs of water." Then he gave her springs of water, both above and beneath.

She said unto him, "Give me a blessing, for thou hast given me a southward and a dry land. Give me also springs of water." And Caleb gave her springs both above and beneath.

And now this blessing which thine handmaid hath brought, let it be given unto the young men that follow my lord.

When David came to Ziklag, he sent of his prey unto the elders of Judah and to his friends, saying, "See there a blessing for you, of the spoil of the enemies of the LORD."

Then he turned again to the man of God and all his company with him, and came and stood before him and said, "Behold, I know that there is no God in all the world, but in Israel. And now, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant."

Wherefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, to come before hand unto you, for to prepare your good blessing promised afore, that it might be ready: so that it be a blessing, and not a defrauding.

Enough

What shall we then say unto these things? if God be on our side: who can be against us?

Therefore let no man rejoice in men. For all things are yours,

as sorrowing and yet always merry, as poor and yet make many rich, as having nothing and yet possessing all things.

I can both cast down myself, I can also exceed. Everywhere, and in all things I am instructed, both to be full, and to be hungry: to have plenty, and to suffer need.

For bodily exercise profiteth little: But godliness is good unto all things, as a thing which hath promises of the life that is now, and of the life to come.

Urged him

Nevertheless yet they lay upon him, till he was ashamed, and said, "Send." And they sent fifty men which sought him three days and three nights, but found him not.

But he said, "As surely as the LORD liveth before whom I stand, I will receive none." And the other would have constrained him to receive: but he would not do it.

And the Lord said to the servant, 'Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
